課程概述

1. 本課程適合已學習基礎中文，欲加強聽說讀寫能力之學習者。
2. 課程透過不同活動幫助學習者熟習已學過之生詞、語法，並藉由情境設計讓學習者練習簡易日常生活對話。
3. 本課程授課語言以中文為主。

課程目標

1. 具備中文基本聽說讀寫之能力。
2. 能以中文與他人進行簡易生活會話。
3. 能以正體字寫出至少兩百字的短文表達自己的想法。

課程要求

1.尊重老師及同學。如果上課中發生同學之間，或師生之間的爭執，或是上課時學生離題的情況，教師將視情況隨時打斷學生發言，以維護課程順利進行。
Be respectful of each other in the classroom. Topics discussed in class should be related to the course. If students argue with classmates or the instructor in class, which affect the class, the instructor will end the topic at any time. Or, if students talk too much to stray into the topic which isn't related to the course, the instructor also will interrupt them at any time.
2. Attendance
If you can't come to class, you must
(1) inform the instructor by email (ttxmft@gmail.com)
(2) 要是你沒來上課16個小時，你就拿到F。
(Total absences for any reason cannot exceed 16 hours or an F will be received.)
(3) 要是你生病的話，沒上課的時間可以比16個小時多，可是要給老師看醫生證明（doctor’s note）
(Sick leaves can be taken for over 16 hours but a doctor’s note is always required.)
(4) 上課晚到20分鐘或是早一點離開 20分鐘，就是少來一個小時（-1小時）
(Late for class or leaving the class early (20 minutes) will be counted as 1 hour.)
3. Please try to talk to your Taiwanese friends in Chinese outside of the class and travel as much as you can.

1.	期中考 Mid-term exam	20%	期中考試為筆試(60%)、聽力測驗(10%)及口試(30%)。若因故無法參加，必須事先知會老師，方可在一週內補考筆試及聽力測驗。若沒於考試前至少一天先告訴老師，將不能進行補考。 Mid-term exam includes written test (60%), listening comprehension (10%) and oral test (30%). Students who can’t take mid-term exam on the scheduled date must inform the instructor at least one day before the exam date. You will need to take a make-up exam within one week. You can’t take the make-up exam if you didn’t inform the instructor in advance.
2.	平時測驗 Test	20%	不定期，於課堂中宣佈。缺考必須在一週內補考，超過一週不予補考補考後的成績以九折計算。若缺考以0 分計算。 Quiz will be announced in class and on Ceiba. Check the announcement if you are absent. You are able to retake the quiz within one week, your score will be 10 % off. If you fail to retake the quiz, your score will be 0. 聽寫 Dictation (10%) 從第二週課程開始，除期中考及期末考週以外，每次上課都有聽寫考試。一上課就考試，如果因故而沒參加考試的，不能補考。期末會選最好的 10 次列入聽寫成績。 From the 2nd week, there will be dictation quiz at the beginning of the class. No make-up quiz provided. The instructor will pick 10 best scores at the end of the semester.
3.	作業 Homework	20%	作業包括學生作業簿、中國字習寫練習及其他強化能力的作業。作業於課堂上領取，未出席者於課程網站下載後書寫。作業需於老師指定日內交回，晚交會批改但不計分。 Homework includes Chinese character practice and some other assignments, such as writing narrations or dialogues. Homework will be handed out in class, you must download it here if you are absent. All assignments must be handed in on time, late submission will not be accepted and students won’t get any points.
4.	課堂出席與課堂參與及表現Attendance and performance in class	20%	(1) 每堂課遲到或早退 20 分鐘以上，即算缺席一小時。 Late for class more than 20 minutes or leave the class 20 minutes earlier than scheduled time will be regarded as one-hour absence. (2) 上課的時候的口頭小報告(10%)。(Presentation during the class for every student)
5.	期末考 Final exam	20%	期末考試為筆試(60%)、聽力測驗(10%)及口試(30%)。期末考不管什麼原因，均不能補考。 Final exam includes written test (60%), listening comprehension (10%) and oral test (30%). You will not be able to take a make-up exam if you miss it.
